I’ve been an educator at the AdVENTURE STEM program since 2012 and recently received my MA in Educational Technology from Concordia University at Irvine. My passions are integrating technology and developing social studies curriculum that emphasizes design thinking and global education. My students know that incorporating real-world connections is an important part of my classroom and the key to becoming a global citizen.  I am  proud of my 2016 Texas Instruments STEM Teacher of the Year award and that I’ve raised over $5,000 in grant money for my classroom and continuing professional development.
