AdVENTURE
At AdVENTURE, our mission is to "engage all students in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through relevant, rigorous curriculum so they will be responsible, active, global citizens in the digital age."
AdVENTURE teachers want students to understand their world and how it is interconnected. We believe students need
a global perspective to effect change.
What is global education?
Global education is actively learning about different cultures, perspectives, and ideas. Global education celebrates, raises awareness, and develops empathy for communities and issues around the world.
Global Education in our community
San Jose is a diverse community and the demographics of our population reflects that fact. Learning about the cultural history of this area can help students better understand the uniqueness of our city and how diversity influences our schools, workplaces, homes, and community.

Global education helps us uncover ideas, perspectives, and knowledge that challenges your beliefs and empowers you to take action. Global ed is more than a set of standards, it is a mindset and a fundamental part of developing future global citizens and is addressed in our mission statement.
